Huntingdon

On Friday 21st May, the club visited Huntingdon for an enterprise day for the younger generation organised by Enterprise UK . We took part in an activity run by Kaboom! a business that not only worked for their own purposes but also social enterprise, in the form of Busking Cancer.
During the morning, we were split up from our usual team members and moved to work with people that we didn’t know so that we could understand what it would be like when we moved into the work place.
Mark Warrick ; the director of Kaboom! along with his assistant got us to work as a team and complete a series of challenges. These challenges included making frogs, coming up with ideas for advertising and finally work on the Local Hero Challenge.
In doing these business associated projects, we worked well as a team and developed new skills which helped us to complete our goal for the day which was to develop ways to use our creativity and enterprise skills. Personally, I feel that this day was a great success and made us come together more as a team.    Amy, Club Chairman
