The Young Entrepreneurs’ Club (YEC) works with schools, colleges, young people, local organisations and businesses to help create enterprising and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Our role is to bring interested parties together:
- introducing those with real challenges to overcome in their businesses to those young people with the freshness of thought and absence of pre-conceived opinions to bring about innovative solutions
- helping young people towards the creation of bright and adaptive business ideas which might then be taken further, either independently or through joint development with a business
- developing mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses and organisations that are prepared to provide training, meeting facilities, advice, one-to-one mentoring and other forms of input which might assist young people within the Borough of Great Yarmouth to develop new business ideas or improve their skills and talents for the benefit of their future employment prospects.
